Reg has a very extensive retail background that covers large areas of retail, starting with his family's newsagency business, his first role after leaving school in 1970, was as an executive trainee at David Jones where he had a number of management roles finishing up as a buyer for young menswear, from there, he took a marketing/merchandising role with Amco/Wrangler Australia's largest Jeans manufacturer at the time. He then worked as a buyer for Grace Bros/Myer and then was headhunted to set up a chain of casual clothing stores in Sydney called Cobolt. His next role was General Manager of BP Oil's company operations called CORO, which he started with 10 stores and grew this business to 50+ sites down the eastern seaboard of Australia. > MORE

Darren stared working with Coles Supermarket at the age of 15. For the first few years he worked in all departments gaining experience across the board before running the Fresh Food departments across many states in Australia. He was with Coles for 13 years. Darren then worked with Australian Fuel Distributors in the Northern Territory (now Ausfuel) managing service stations in Darwin and then moving down to Alice Springs with the company as a multi-site operator for approx 5years. He then moved to Brisbane and managed BP Manly for a time before moving to UCB in 2005.
